I am super thrilled to talk about this week’s insider’s look necklace because this movie is one of my absolute favorites. I can’t watch it very often because it brings me to convulsive tears every time but it makes me think of my grandparents and the love they shared…. the love I have finally found. This week Rachel, from Beautiful Baubles, shares with us her insider look at the Love Lifts Us UP Necklace from the Disney Pixar film, UP.
Here’s what Rachel had to say about this perfectly inspired necklace:
“This necklace inspired by the Disney Pixar movie UP features a reproduction of the grape soda pin Ellie gave to Carl as a child. Multicolored beads look like balloons and hold the pin on a silver plated chain. This was the very first necklace I had ordered for a Disney wedding and it gave me the idea to make more themed pieces perfect for themed weddings. There is something so sweet and romantic about this couple that met as children and stayed together all of their lives. We all want that kind of love and wearing this necklace makes the wearer feel closer to it, even if they are still looking.”
I think she’s absolutely right about wearing this piece, regardless of whether or not you have found that love. I always felt close to this movie because I knew I wanted to find this kind of love and, now that I have it, I still feel that close tie with this movie and this necklace. I know the first thing I thought of was the balloons and the pin Carl always wore that Ellie gave him. I think this necklace would be an amazing Valentine’s day or anniversary gift. I know it would touch my heart.
