Let’s face it. Traveling with babies and toddlers can be difficult. However, there is help! The Baby Care Centers at Walt Disney World make traveling with little Mouseketeers just a little easier. Plus, they are FREE to use!
My son is 19 months old, and he has been to Walt Disney World twice already. Both times were a struggle! The first time we went (in May of 2021) was one of the hottest weeks of the year and we were all melting and miserable. Disney is just a little less magical when you have sweat dripping off the tip of your nose. The second trip (in November 2021) definitely had MUCH better weather, but it was still challenging to keep an active (and grumpy) toddler happy all day.
Before you travel to Walt Disney World with your baby or toddler, you simply must be aware of the Baby Care Centers located within the Parks!
If your little one needs a little break, physically or mentally, from the excitement of the Disney Parks, this is the place to be! An air-conditioned facility offers chairs, a television, changing tables, and private nursing rooms for your convenience. The Baby Care Center at Disney’s Hollywood Studios even contains a flushing training potty for toilet training toddlers!
As we know, Disney is always updating and working to improve guest experiences. The Magic Kingdom Baby Care Center has been recently renovated to a fun and whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme! It features a beautiful kitchen complete with a microwave oven, sink, and bottle warmers. The nursing room offers a quiet retreat and toddlers will enjoy watching “Alice in Wonderland” on the big screen television located in the den area.
Whether you are looking for a private space to nurse or just a quiet oasis to decompress, make sure to check out these facilities! You’ll feel like a Disney Parks pro when you navigate the stressful world of toddler travel.
