Yesterday, I gave a sneak peek of the new Bambi and Friends Dooney and Bourke Collection. Today, it’s here! There are 3 pieces available in this new collection on shopDisney!
I was calling this the Forest Friends collection and I honestly feel that is more aptly named as the characters include Bambi, Thumper, and Flower (from Bambi), Owl, Squirrel, Robin, and Rabbits (from Sleeping Beauty), Tod and Copper (from The Fox and the Hound), Meeko and Flit (from Pocahontas). I’m not so sure Bambi is friends with all these characters! However, that’s what Disney is calling it so let’s go with it.
The satchel is one of the 3 styles available and this will be the one that can also be used as a crossbody because of the longer strap. The zipper pocket in front is a great spot to stash a quickly needed item, like lipstick! This one is available HERE for $268.
We knew from the sneak peek that there would be a tote and here is it is. This is a shopper tote and has a zip top closure, which I love! It also has that zippered pocket on the front. The lining in the pictures online is red but, as we knew, that seems to be the fallback color when the publish new Dooney and Bourke bags online. Many bags have ended up not having a red lining when they arrive. We can’t be sure that will happen in this case but it’s something to keep in mind. This bag can be found HERE and retails for $298.
The wallet will be the hardest style to get perfect placement because the print is rather large. This would have been perfect to have a personal shopper for but hopefully, shopDisney will make your wish come true with placement. This one can be found HERE for $158.
We talked at length yesterday about the print and color. The color is spectacular! There is also another thing of note which is the hangtag on the first two bags. The leather Artist Series hang tag with embossed ”Caley Hicks for Disney” signature label is a hint that perhaps Caley Hicks is just the first of many artists to get their own Dooney and Bourke Collection! I am keeping my fingers crossed for Ashley Taylor, Jerrod Maruyama, and John Coulter!
