I am about to share a VERY unpopular opinion…don’t judge me! I have been a bit disappointed by several of the more recent Pixar Movies and long for the early, glory days of Pixar. That’s why when I heard that there was going to be a Buzz Lightyear movie, I was excited and worried at the same time. I loved the Toy Story movies and am hoping that the Lightyear movie will be just as good. Because I was concerned, I haven’t watched the movie yet. While I haven’t seen the movie yet, I am basking in the glory that is all of the wonderful new Lightyear merchandise that is currently available. This includes the new Infinity Collection From Stance.
Adult Socks
Adults have two styles to choose from. The first is Lightyear Crew Socks with Buzz on them. Buzz can be seen in retro neon colors in front of a black background. “Star Command” is displayed proudly on both of the toes. Buzz looks like he is ready to defend the galaxy as he stands strong on the front of the sock.
Adults can also get the Lightyear Crew Socks with Zurg on them. Zurg is looking particularly evil as he glares out into space above a neon “Z”. Like Buzz’s socks, the Zurg socks are also neon with a black background. These colors are very reflective of the early 80s, which is about when the movie Lightyear is supposed to take place.
Adult sizes can either be purchased separately or together in a bundle that includes both the Buzz and Zurg sets. I like the idea of getting the bundle because that means that you could wear one Buzz and one Zurg sock at the same time.
Youth Socks
Children or adults, like me, that have small feet have the option of getting the Buzz socks or a bundle of three sock sets that include the Buzz and Zurg sets plus a space blue set that has some of the Star Command logos on it. I really like the third option in this set because it is very different and I don’t think that a lot of people would be able to identify which movie it was from right away. It would be really cool to wear the socks and have people try to guess what movie they were from.
