I was supposed to be heading to Shanghai Disney Resort this year but things didn’t quite work out as planned. I will be heading there in 2019 but that seems so far away! I was really excited to check out the merchandise (shocking, I know) but it never occurred to me that I wouldn’t need to cross an ocean to see it. Some of the merchandise can actually be found on the China Pavilion at Epcot!
There is a whole bunch of merchandise celebrating the opening of Shanghai Disney all the way to it’s most recent 1 year anniversary celebration. I had no idea we had this all at our fingertips right here in the USA!
As you can see, they have some of the Grand Opening merchandise available. I actually really like the pillow. I kind of feel like it’s cheating, purchasing this pillow when I wasn’t there for the Grand Opening, but it would like so good in my travel inspired spare room! Just look at how they turned the “O” into a Mickey silhouette!
The First Anniversary celebration is well under way at Shanghai Disney Resort and there are mugs, hats and Mickey Ears to commemorate the occasion right there at the China Pavilion!
If you are into pin trading, you are in luck. You can find a wide assortment of pins direct from Shanghai Disney at Epcot! There are even Limited Release pins for the taking. I am loving the ones for the First Anniversary the most.
If hats and pins are not your cup of tea, there are also many toys and plushes available! As much as I love that Barbie, I am loving the plushes more. I have a few from Disneyland Paris and one from Aulani so I feel like one of these needs to come home with me, as well. Now to decide if I can wait till I get there next year!
