The lyrics to Part of Your World are forever ingrained in my brain (and by the way, I’m completely okay with that!). It’s impossible to hear anyone say “but who cares” or “no big deal” or “I want more” and not immediately picture Ariel swimming around her grotto. Part of Your World is one of the most iconic Disney songs of my childhood and was probably the spark of my lifelong goal to be a mermaid.
But some days, I DON’T want to be where the people where. I don’t want to see them dancing. And I don’t want to talk to them about fire. Some days, I just want more wine.
