DCL has announced the Disney Destiny stateroom gifts for returning cruisers. Castaway Club Members on Disney Cruise Line enjoy many perks while on board the ship – including exciting welcome back gifts waiting for you in your stateroom. These gifts vary from time to time, and they also depend on your Castaway Club level. Disney Cruise Line has now provided a sneak peek at what Disney Destiny cruisers can expect in their stateroom when they get onboard the newest ship during her Inaugural Season! The “Inaugural Season” for the ships is a bit loosely defined, but if the Disney Wish was any indication, you should expect it to go through sailings for the first year.
Gifts by Castaway Club level
Silver Members (passengers with at least one sailing under their belt) get a stylish Canvas Tote. This replaces the usual over-the-shoulder Castaway Cruise sling. The color scheme is really cool and feels really superheroic!
Gold Members (5-9 completed sailings) get a dry bag in addition to the canvas tote. The dry bag was first spotted as a stateroom gift during the Wish Inaugural Season, and it has become one of our favorite items to pack for a cruise.
Platinum Members (10-24 completed sailings) also receive a set of packing cubes in addition to all the goodies we have mentioned previously. This is the first time we have ever seen packing cubes as a stateroom gift, so we are excited to take a closer look at what they look like when we get on the ship!
Pearl Members (Over 25 sailings) round out their stateroom gift collection with a travel set – passport holder, travel wallet, and luggage tags all themed to the Disney Destiny. While we haven’t seen these as stateroom gifts before, Disney Cruise Line did offer a travel set of sorts for the Disney Wish as a keepsake box that could be ordered as a gift – this sold out pretty quickly and has not been seen since.
If you were already looking forward to a sailing on the brand new Disney Destiny, you just got an extra incentive to get on it during her first year of sailings! Make sure you book your cruise as soon as possible and happy sailing!
