Did you know the Ultra Violet is the Pantone color of the year this year? It also seems like every where I look this season I see splashes of violet and lavender! For me those soft purples always remind me of Rapunzel, so what better Disney inspiration to turn to for style, than our own Inner Rapunzel?
Rapunzel is adventurous, carefree, and kind, and the perfect princess to look to for some Spring style inspiration. So in celebration of Spring, I decided to find my favorite Rapunzel inspired items!
Rapunzel is a delicate and free spirit, and a light pastel purple dress is the perfect start for any Punzy inspired DisneyBound. This lavender lace dress is great for a date night, brunch, or evening party, while this tie back lavender dress is perfect for a casual outing.
If you don’t already have a Disney Spirit Jersey yet, what are you waiting for? There is already Rose Gold Jerseys, and even a Millennial Pink Jersey coming soon, but why not a lilac one too? This lilac Disney Spirit Jersey is fabulous for a comfy Rapunzel inspired outfit, I could totally see Punzy wearing this as a modern Disney Princess.
Spring time means warmer weather and swimming are on the way! This Rapunzel Bathing Suit from Hot Topic captures the look of her dress in bikini form! It has a purple top and bottom with an allover floral print, with light purple contrasting front lace-up detail and a matching flower print across the bust with “Tangled” text design. It’s topped with ruffle shoulder straps that lead to light purple crisscross lace-up straps. Removable padding.
Although Punzy isn’t one for wearing shoes, sometimes we can’t get away with running around barefoot. These lace ballet flats are the perfect shade of pastel purple, and light and airy enough to be the next best thing.
Yes, I know this one isn’t pastel, but sometimes we need a little contrast! This is Rapunzel hat is just what we need when we’re having a Tangled Hair Don’t Care kind of day.
I’m a little bit obsessed with this lavender Rapunzel racerback tank from Walt Life Apparel. The delicate pastel purple of this tank, allows the floral wreath and quote on this tank top POP. I love the incorporated detail of the lanterns too.
Punzy had locks for days, so of course we can’t forget hair accessories! This super sparkly glitter bow is inspired by Rapunzel, and can be worn as a clip, or hairband. I love the super comfortable hairbands that are used for them, and I always get stopped for compliments when I wear any of these bows.
Of course sometimes we need to go full Minnie Ears! These handmade sequin Rapunzel Minnie Mouse Ears, are sure to steal the show too. These feature a golden wire crown between the pastel purple sequin ears, and dainty flowers in pinks, and yellows.
If we’re going for the ears, we’re probably going for MagicBand or Smart watch accessorizing too! I love Mouse on Main Street’s mini bows, like this Rapunzel MagicBand Bow, for decorating my MagicBand at the Parks, and my Fit Bit on my day to day errands.
Of course sometimes we want to enjoy a day in relaxing. I could totally see Rapunzel enjoying the violet and lime fragrance of this Violet Lemonade Candle after a long day of adventuring.
Last but not least we have the crown jewel of Rapunzel style, the Danielle Nicole Tangled Lantern Crossbody! And at last we see the light! This adorable gold and purple crossbody bag from Danielle Nicole is based on the lanterns from Disney’s Tangled. It’s got a chain strap, a snap closure, and an interior drop pocket. Best of all? It’s not just covered in glitter – it also lights up!
