I’ve already shown y’all my Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Bucket List, so next up, I want to show off my EPCOT Bucket List! So much is changing right now around EPCOT, and there are so many new and exciting adventures coming our way! That being said, I want to show off some of my already existing bucket list items! Don’t worry–I will add all of the new magical experiences to my personal list as soon as they are available! For now, pardon our pixie dust on those!
As usual, let’s start out with the food! First up on my bucket list is the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience! I absolutely love Twinings Tea, and I was even able to meet one of the members of the Twinings family a couple of years ago! This fabulous experience educates participants on the differences in teas and how to make the perfect cup! You’ll also learn history and fun facts about Twinings tea and all of its varieties! The best part is that this experience includes a tea tasting, sandwiches, and scones!
You can start your morning with tea, but you should end it with desserts! The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase is one of my top bucket list items! This fabulous dessert party includes a sweets stations with tasty treats like Sven’s Cheesecake-filled Cream Horns, Troll Rock Coconut Bonbons, and Anna’s Sunflower Birthday Cake Cupcakes! There is a hot and cold sweets station with Agnarr’s Warm Short Dough Cookies and toppings like Agnarr’s Warm Chocolate Pudding with Salted Caramel Glaze and Hand-dipped Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Ryder’s Savory Station includes scrumptious options like Cheese Puff Sliders with Pimento Cheese and Grand Pabbie’s Cheese Fondue with Pretzel Bites, Grilled Flatbread, and House-fried Chips. There is even a nitro station that serves Bruni’s Nitro Fried S’more Chocolate Mousse with Graham Cracker Crumbs and Fresh Toasted Marshmallows. You can wash all of that down with specialty alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages like the “Frozen Heart.” As if all of the tasty treats weren’t enough to make you want to attend this dessert party, you also get to enjoy them while watching the fabulous fireworks. After the fireworks are over, you will be escorted over to the Norway Pavilion to enjoy Frozen Ever After! Who wouldn’t want to fill up on tasty treats, get great views of the fireworks, and then ride one of the park’s top attractions with no wait!?
If you prefer tours, the Behind the Seeds tour is a great place to start! This awesome one-hour walking tour lets you explore The Land Pavilion in more depth than Living with the Land ever could! You will get to explore the fish farm and four greenhouses that are a part of The Land Pavilion! You will get to see the fish farm during feeding time, see incredible produce, learn more about innovative growing techniques, and even take home a handout so you can bring your new knowledge to your own garden!
Do you prefer the water over the land? If so, check out the Epcot Seas Adventures – Aqua Tour! This tour is on my list because it allows you to snorkel with thousands of beautiful sea creatures! Since there are over 65 species in the tank, you could see sea turtles, angelfish, eagle rays, and even sharks in Caribbean Coral Reef! You will be able to snorkel for around 30 minutes inside this fabulous 5.7 million gallon saltwater tank! The best part is that it is a scuba-assisted snorkel, which keeps you afloat and breathing. Plus, you don’t have to be SCUBA-certified! You do have to stay at the surface, but you’ll still get an incredible view! This 2.5-hour tour also includes a tour of the infrastructure that helps keep the habitat clean, a video presentation about the amazing creatures that call the Caribbean Coral Reef home, and a question an answer session! You’ll even get a photo of yourself in dive gear and a special souvenir! If you like the sound of this tour, but you want to dive deeper, check out the Epcot Seas Adventures – DiveQuest for SCUBA-certified Guests!
Watching the dolphins inside The Seas with Nemo & Friends is one of my favorite things to do when we visit! Of course, the Epcot Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth is on my bucket list! This 3-hour experience will allow you to talk with the dolphin trainers and researchers, see how the bottlenose dolphins are taken care of, and even experience a training and research session with a team of EPCOT’s marine mammal specialists. The best part of this entire experience is that you will get to spend 30 minutes in the water interacting with the dolphins! The water is only waist-deep, so you don’t even need to be able to swim! You’ll even receive a photo with the amazing dolphins and a souvenir! This experience is limited to no more than 8 Guests per day, so it is definitely exclusive!
If you prefer to learn a bit more about Future World as a whole, check out The UnDISCOVERed Future World tour! This 4-hour walking tour allows you to explore Future World while learning about it’s creation and construction. You’ll also learn about how EPCOT today reflects Walt Disney’s legacy! You will even get to head backstage to see the magic below the outdoor portion of Test Track and visit the Cast Services building to peek inside the wardrobe department! To top it all off, you will receive a souvenir pin to help you remember your incredible experience!
There are so many exciting new experiences coming to EPCOT, but don’t forget all of the amazing adventures that are already there to enjoy!
