As a very proud Canadian, I always make sure to stop at the Canada pavilion when at Epcot. I know it may seem silly, seeing as I am Canadian, but I live in the U.S. now and it gives me a bit of home while at my Disney home! I always love checking out the merchandise but it doesn’t usually have much of a Disney spin. I am so excited to report that the tides are turning! Chip and Dale can be found playing around on the new Canada merchandise at Epcot!
With the Winter Olympics set to start very soon, I am gearing up for my Canadian hockey team to kick some butt. Everyone knows that Canada and hockey go hand in hand. Well, now I will be holding on to one of these hockey pucks with Dale on one side and Canada on the other! How freaking cute are these?? If this was Chip on the puck, it would literally be 3 of my favorite things on one item!
Who doesn’t love a good Tervis? I have too many at the moment but this one is going to be hard to turn down. This map of Canada with landmark icons and Chip and Dale is really a fabulous way to show off my Canadian pride.
The other thing I have way too much of is coffee mugs. I am getting ready to sort through my cabinet and get rid of the mugs I no longer want so I can replace them with one of these!! I really like the black exterior with the bright pop of red on the inside. Chip and Dale just make it even better.
There are tee shirts and sweatshirts also available with this new theme. I can totally picture myself wearing one of these tee shirts, the sweatshirt and holding the puck while drinking coffee from the mug during the Olympic Winter games. Is that overkill?
There are other Disney character found on some Canadian merchandise, as well. In fact, the Mickey tee seen above is going to be a part of my husband’s Valentine’s day gift (shhh… don’t tell him!).
