Coming Soon – a Complimentary Passholder Magnet at Disney Springs!

You read that right, fellow Disney World Passholders – a new complimentary Passholder Magnet will be available at Disney Springs! Starting on March 2, 2022, through March 30, 2022, Passholders can pick up the new 50th Anniversary Celebration Magnet. It features Mickey and Minnie together on an EARidescent logo of Walt Disney World.

The process for acquiring this magnet is a bit different than Passholder offerings in years past! A virtual queue will be used, so Passholders can enjoy Disney Springs instead of waiting in a physical line.

Disney listed out three easy steps to get your Passholder Magnet:

Ensure your Family & Friends List is Up to Date

(It is one magnet per Passholder, but this allows you to enroll other Passholders on your list for the queue!). You can only add Passholders to your virtual queue party if they have opted to share “All My Plans” with you.

Sign-Up for the Virtual Queue on the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

You can access the queue once you are within 45 miles of Disney Springs by selecting “Annual Passholder Magnet Pick-Up” on the home screen of the app. This queue opens at 9 AM each morning and may reopen at various times throughout the day with additional availability. After you’ve joined the virtual queue, you’ll be given an estimated wait time (which may be as soon as 30 minutes from the time you entered the queue!). Return times will be from 10 AM to 10 PM.  After you’re called to return, you have an hour to join the physical line at Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories shop at Disney Springs. Enable your push notifications so you’ll get an alert when it’s your turn to return – and if you miss your time, you can rejoin the virtual queue.

There are lots of fun things for Passholders at Disney Springs! Make sure to check out the Passholder props at the Disney Photopass Studio and the Passholder Chocolate Covered Strawberry Marshmallows gift box available for purchase at The Ganachery. There is even a Passholder hidden menu beverage at Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar!

Besides the one magnet per Passholder policy, each Passholder must be present and have their Passholder ID and a government-issued photo ID to receive their magnet.
