Disney is loved and adored by children around the world, but grown ups around the world love Disney too!! Japan has a reputation for making us Disney Fashionistas jealous, and their new store at the Harajuku Alta Stores is no exception!
Walt Disney Japan will be introducing a first of it’s kind Disney Store, tailored to adult women. This gorgeous store has a spacious layout with lots of white and creams to give you the feeling of being inside a fairy tale castle. There’s many “magical” accents added to the store as well, such as a rose bush sign that changes colors as you look at it from a different direction.

Instead of the shelves being adorned with plastic toys, plush, and pretend dress up clothes, this new style of store will display rows of purses, phone accessories, and of course jewelry! Many “Kawaii Culture” items will also be available, from adorable backpacks, to pastel clothing showing off our adorable character favorites. The atmosphere will have a much more boutique feel than the usual Disney Store. All Disney girls should get to feel like a princess, even the adult ones, and I’m sure this new store will give Disney Fashionistas around the world that feel!
To kick off their opening the store will have one of my personal obsessions Tsum Tsums! A super kawaii limited edition Tsum Tsum set will be available ONLY at the new Disney Store for women. 4 girly Tsum Tsums dressed in cute satiny dresses will come in a box set, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Marie, and Miss Bunny. Another obsession of mine is Pin trading, and for the grand opening the first 1000 customers that spend ¥3,000 approximately $25.oo USD will get a glamorous limited edition Pin. The pin is a rendition of the elegant new sign of the store.

The new Disney Store for Women will open at the Harakuku Alta Stores on March 7, 2015. This new kind of store seems so amazing to me, and I’m pascal green with envy! I can only hope that like Tsum Tsum we will one day get to have one of these new boutique like Disney Stores here stateside.
