The holidays might be over but I always enjoy cooking and baking-especially baking! But, since it is mid-January, I think it is time to put away my red apron and other Christmas themed kitchen items. This is partially an excuse to go shopping and Disney Springs has some whimsical new Disney aprons and tea towels!
Disney Aprons
There are quite a few colorful new aprons to choose from and they look almost like dresses! If you are a fan of Adventureland, there is a lime green orange bird apron and an Enchanted Tiki Room themed apron. If you look closely, you’ll see little Dole Whips on the Tiki Room one!
The Mickey Bar and the Carousel aprons are my favorites. The Mickey bar one features a gorgeous blue color, polka dots, bright orange accents, and the iconic Mickey Bar! For a little added sparkle, the Mickey Bar is sequined! The Carousel apron is a pretty light pink and features a carousel horse appliqué on the bottom and a castle appliqué on the top. I wasn’t successful in getting the Carousel Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Loungefly backpack so this apron might have to be my consolation prize!
Some movies don’t have that much merchandise so I am excited that they included The Three Caballeros! This apron is ready for a fiesta with its bright red color and pom pom fringe!
Disney Tea Towels
After you decide on your apron, it’s time to pick a tea towel. I don’t know about you, but I never actually use my tea towels. They just look cute on the oven door! If you like matching sets, some match the aprons like the Orange Bird, Tiki Room, Mickey ice cream bar, Carousel horse, and The Three Caballeros. Then, there are tea towels to match your favorite rides like the Mad Tea Party and Haunted Mansion. Even though I love the Mickey Bar and Carousel aprons, my favorite tea towels are the Disney World icons and the Mickey waffle. There’s even a poison apple tea towel!
