Disney announced that the next D23 Expo is postponed until 2022. Every other year I look forward to attending the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. This time around, I (and thousands of fans) will have to wait a bit longer to enjoy the magic.
DisneyD23 posted on Instagram to share the news. “We are excited to announce that the next D23 Expo will be held September 9-11, 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center. D23 Expo 2022 will be a celebration unlike any other, as we give fans a first look at the incredible plans for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.”
While the post does not actually say that the event has been postponed, we are used to the expo happening every other year. Since the last D23 Expo took place in 2019, fans expected the next one to take place in 2021. However, with more time to plan, the expo in 2022 will be even more fabulous than before!
The Disney Fashionista family travels to Anaheim for every D23 Expo! We love bringing you all the news, updates, and merch. You can count on us to be there in 2022, ready to take it all in and share it with all the fans who cannot be there in person. I’ve already planned several of my outfits!
While I’m super sad that I have to wait one more year to attend the expo, I know that it will be worth the wait! We can’t wait to see what Disney has in store for us! Plus, the tease about the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company has the wheels in my head turning!
