It’s been a while since we have shared a Destination: Disney Style video with you all. It’s high time we shared another one because this one talks about my newest favorite film and all the fashion that goes with it! Destination: Disney Style has done a special Beauty and the Beast episode!
This video that takes fans behind the scenes of the ‘statement-making’ fashion inspired by cultural phenomenon Beauty and the Beast. In the exciting return of its Destination: Disney Style series, which explores how Disney characters and stories are interpreted across the globe, Disney offers an in-depth look at the environmentally conscious style taking a page from the live-action film.
The video, hosted by two-time Teen Choice Award nominee, The Amazing Race contestant, and top beauty/style influencer Blair Fowler, brings viewers to the film’s premiere event in New York City, where designer Christopher Kane, and fashion firm Eco Age Ltd.’s founder, Livia Firth discuss how the “tale as old as time” influenced their creative vision and process for the custom-designed, eco-friendly pieces.
The Christopher Kane line isn’t the only fashion inspired by BATB: The film’s star, Emma Watson, also launched an Instagram account to chronicle her eco-friendly choices throughout her press tour.
