I know people thought I was crazy talking about Christmas in July a couple of weeks ago but it turns out Disney Parks has the holidays on their minds, too! Today, a sneak peek of the new 2018 Disney holiday Dooney and Bourke bags was revealed and it is fabulous!
It is another black background, which I know was a complaint from last year but the pattern is all new! That’s something to celebrate!
As you can see, there are ornaments comprised of different characters and attractions from around the Magic Kingdom! I see Small World ornaments and Enchanted Tiki birds and Gods in holiday attire. Astro Orbiters is even decked out in red, white and green. It’s a completely new design!
There are Gingerbread Men, and Ugly Christmas Sweater ornaments, too, not to mention Mickey and Minnie and Donald inspired ornaments! I am really loving the new look for 2018.
We do not know the silhouettes, aside from the tote, but we do know there will be 3 silhouettes. We also don’t have pricing. They can’t give us too much information at once, I suppose. Last year, the bags were released around Thanksgiving and I am guessing this year will be the same.
If you are thinking you won’t be around to fight the crowds or just plain don’t want to (I get it), you can email the preferred personal shopper of Disney Fashionista at shopthemeparks@gmail.com and get on a waitlist for pricing and info for pickups. There’s no guarantee but it’s worth a shot.
