It’s a banner week for Disney Bounding with the Disney Fashionista. We were given the task of putting together a Disney bounding look for a family trip to Disney! We jumped at the opportunity. The family wanted mom to be Wendy, dad to be Peter Pan and daughter to be Tinker Bell. I hope that we did not disappoint! Let’s take a look at the details for the Neverland family!
I’m going to start with Wendy because I could totally rock out this look!!! We started with this darling blue, v-neck dress. It’s sleeveless and loose fitting to keep our Wendy cool. This particular Wendy specified that she likes to wear dresses when at the Parks (like me) so I am hoping this dress is to her liking. On her feet, we have these black ballet flats made by Dr. Scholl’s! They look stylish but should be super comfy for a day at the Parks. Let’s talk accessories. In her hair, we have a big blue bow. Wendy wears one and it will also keep her hair back when it is hot. Wendy’s purse is a blue cross body bag with a lovely white bow on the front. It is perfect to throw over your shoulder and keep your essentials close by. It is also super affordable at $14.99! The thimble is a charm that you can add to a bracelet or necklace. Many of you may know the symbolism and I am going to let those who don’t figure it out. The earrings are another fabulous find from Beautiful Baubles. If you decide these are something you must have, and they certainly do wrap up this look perfectly, you can enter discount code disfashion5 at checkout and get 5% off your purchase!
Now it’s time for the dad look, aka Peter Pan. We weren’t about to go traditional and put him in tights!! We decided to stick with the green and brown color palette, though. I mean, if we didn’t, it wouldn’t be Disney Bounding Peter Pan! We start with these green cargo shorts. They will allow for the Peter Pan dad to not melt in the Florida summer heat. Paired with the shorts, is this lighter green tee. Men like their belts, at least my man does, so we added this brown belt to try and tie in the brown of the color palette. The footwear we’ve chosen is within the color palette and these shoes are also New Balance. What does this mean?? Comfort for the Parks!!! The last 2 items for this look are a bit of a stretch but it depends on the man. We added a slouchy green hat as well as the brown leather cuff bracelet. These 2 items tie the look together and add the finishing touches.
For the Disney Daughter, we put together an adorable Tinker bell look that allows for comfort as well as fun.We start with this adorable sleeveless, green ruffle dress. This allows for quick movement and breathability in the hot Florida sun. The green shoes are easy to wear and super comfortable! For accessories, Tinker Bell hair clips are a must with this Tinker Bell Disney Bounding look. They will keep the hair out of your little pixie’s face and give a clue as to who she is! The necklace is another find from Beautiful Baubles. It has “believe” written on it which is Tinker Bell’s motto. As a final touch, we have put a Tinker Bell watch on our little fashionista. We love the overall look and think it’s a perfect representation of a little pixie. It’s also a great way to tie in a souvenir from the trip into the Disney Bounding look!
That’s it for our first family Disney Bounding look here at Disney Bounding with the Disney fashionista. What do you think of our looks? Do you want to Disney Bound as a family now?? Let us know in the comment box below!
