Last week, I decided to take us some place warmer with a character associated with warmer weather, Ariel. Reality has settled in and the cold weather is here to stay for a bit so I have reverted back to a character that is clearly from cooler weather. In fact, her feature film is called Frozen! This week, we are Disney Bounding with the amazing Anna. Elsa was our inspiration just a few short weeks ago and we wouldn’t want her sister to get jealous now, would we? Let’s take a look at what we picture Anna cavorting around in in the big city!
Anna’s color palette isn’t quite as set in stone as her sister’s, in my opinion. She definitely is known to wear a darker blue and she has tones of reddish purple as well. It really depends on what outfit you picture her in. We have chosen the palette I just mentioned. We are giving Anna a shorter dress than she is used to, a color blocked, sweater dress in blue and black. To keep her warm, we have given her cable knit black tights to be worn with some fabulous Steve Madden boots. To keep her a bit warmer ( I mean, she lives in Norway!) a colorful, cashmere scarf by Michael Kors adds that splash of color and warmth this outfit needs.
Accessory wise, a fabulous Tulip barrette in her hair reminds me of all the scenes in the movie that had that type of accent. Her necklace, as you can see, is actually a Scandinavian pendant, representing her homeland. The purse is a basic black duffle tote from Coach. The earrings are another fabulous find from Beautiful Baubles. They have silver and crystal leaf posts with Fuchsia and Cobalt crystal bezels done in silver. I actually own these earrings and I am in love. If you are interested in these, or any other piece from Beautiful Baubles, make sure to enter discount code disfashion5 for a 5% discount!
We can’t stop with the outfit! As per previous weeks, we decided to include nails! Micheal, the exclusive Jamberry rep for the Disney Fashionista, has created a set of nails that would make Anna proud. Elsa’s snowflakes are present, because Anna loved to play in the snow Elsa created as a child. The other pattern you’ll note is similar to the pattern you find through out her house and on some of Anna’s clothes. I feel like this look compliments Anna but is still not overtly Disney, so those closet Disney lovers can still wear them proud. If you are interested in purchasing these jamberry nails, contact Micheal at fairytalejams.com and let her know you’re interested. She will make it happen for you. Also check out previous week’s looks and possibly get a few!
That’s another week of Disney Bounding with the Disney Fashionista. I think this look can be worn in it’s entirety or in pieces but either way, it is a look that would work for all body types. Let me know which part of the complete look is your fave. Is it the outfit? The jewelry? The nails?? Let me know in the comment box below!
