Disney is celebrating a very special milestone this year as Winnie the Pooh turns 100. In honor of the beloved character’s centennial, Disney is launching a global celebration filled with new merchandise, collaborations, storytelling, and publishing releases throughout 2026.
The celebration commemorates 100 years since the publication of A.A. Milne’s original Winnie the Pooh book in October 1926, a story that introduced the world to the gentle, honey-loving bear and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.
For generations, Pooh and his companions—Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, and Owl—have shared messages of friendship, kindness, and simple joy. Their timeless adventures continue to inspire fans of all ages, making Pooh one of the most cherished characters in Disney storytelling.
According to Amanda Dhalluin, Vice President of Global Brand Commercialization for Disney Consumer Products, this milestone will allow fans to experience Pooh’s enduring charm in brand-new ways through creative collaborations and meaningful products.
Pooh-Inspired Collections and Collaborations
Throughout the year, Disney will collaborate with a wide range of global brands to release special Winnie the Pooh–inspired products spanning fashion, accessories, toys, collectibles, and lifestyle items.


Some of the early launches already joining the celebration include playful apparel collections from Old Navy, baby styles from GAP and Carter’s, and a nostalgic anniversary collection from Primark. Fans can also find whimsical Hundred Acre Wood designs from Vera Bradley, along with collectible figures from Funko’s Pop Nooks line featuring memorable Pooh moments.











The Disney Store is also joining the festivities with new Pooh-inspired collections, including canvas totes featuring Pooh and his pals and plenty of apparel.
New Products Launching This Month
Several new releases are arriving this month to continue the celebration. LEGO is introducing two Winnie the Pooh themed sets, including a detailed brick-built Pooh with a honey pot and the Piglet’s Birthday Fun playset featuring a posable Piglet and a birthday cake that opens to reveal Pooh’s home in the Hundred Acre Wood.


Additional collaborations launching soon include adult apparel from Cakeworthy, tech accessories from PopSockets, statement bags from Loungefly, and even a calming honey chamomile tea from Yogi Tea inspired by Pooh’s love for life’s simple pleasures. Beauty products from Wet Brush, Wet n Wild, and Mad Beauty will also join the celebration.



Even More Magic Still to Come
The centennial festivities will continue all year long with even more product launches. Upcoming releases include a kids’ footwear collection from adidas, new additions to the Disney Darlings line from JAKKS Pacific, and special collaborations from Squishmallows, Steiff, Little Words Project, and Pandora.

Fans will also find Pooh-inspired merchandise appearing at major retailers such as Target, Five Below, and TJ Maxx, while the Disney Store plans to debut a nostalgic ’90s-inspired Winnie the Pooh collection featuring apparel, accessories, and plush.
New Books for Pooh Fans
The celebration also includes several new publishing releases that explore Pooh’s themes of friendship, imagination, and kindness. Upcoming titles include Winnie the Pooh: Wonders of the Hundred-Acre Wood Treasury, Disney: Winnie the Pooh: The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook, and The Winnie the Pooh Book: A Centenary Celebration.


Later this year, readers can also look forward to Winnie the Pooh: 100 Mindful Moments, arriving September 22. The book encourages readers to embrace the simple joys of everyday life through Pooh’s thoughtful perspective.
