Last year, the must have Disney collectible was the mini Lego figures. Are you having flash backs? They were carried at most stores you would expect. like Walmart and Target etc, but it was virtually impossible to find them because they were flying off the shelves. There’s a new Disney collectible in town, fashionistas, Disney D-Lecatables are here and they are darling!
These are just like the Lego in many ways. They come in individual pouches, like the ones shown above. There is one per pouch. And you put them together, like Lego. Here’s where things differ slightly. With last’s summer’s craze, you were collecting specific characters. Sure, you could mix up pieces but then you wouldn’t have the same characters anymore now, would you. These are created so you can mix and match and make your own delicious treats!
There are 12 total to collect but, as you can see above, there are a lot more combinations of fun when you use that Disney mind! The poster above tells you which D-Lectables are out there so you can keep track and collect them all. I really tried for the Cheshire Cat Lego last year and never did find him. I can tell you I am going to be looking for the Cheshire Cat this year…. and he’s a cupcake! I love cupcakes.
As adorable as these Disney D-Lectable treats are, they are toys. Don’t get too excited and leave them around little ones. They are going to want to eat them! They look amazing. Disney needs to look at these and start imagineering some Disney treats!
You are probably wondering where you are going to find these fabulous Disney collectibles. Great question. All the stores that carry them are listed on the company’s website, Imperial Toy. They are also available for purchase there! That’s the easy way to go. My guess is that they will sell out online soon, just like the Lego sets. Imperial Toy has really gone above and beyond to create something that not only kids will want but Disney fashionistas, too! They are just too cute to ignore!
What do you think of this summer’s newest Disney collectible? Are you going to start searching for them? I already have. I think I may be ahead of the game, though, because my local stores have said they don’t have their shipments yet. Let us know what you think in the comment box below.

These actually showed up in stores in November 2016. They came in 3 different types of packaging. Blind bags at stores like Hot Topic retailed for around $5-$7 Blister packs were at Target for $3 and they eventually clearanced them out for 70-90% off at Easter time. At Toys R Us they had Blister Packs with a blind Limited Edition piece. These were for all Collection 1 which there are 12 characters and 4 Limited Edition characters. Collection 2 was released in 2017 in Blind Easter eggs at Walmart. There are 8 characters and 4 Limited Edition ones in collection 2. Altogether there are 28 characters that have been released (20 regular and 8 Limited Edition ones) At the NY toy fair they previewed a collector case and ice cream cart that will be released in the fall of 2017. Also there are 4 more characters coming soon to collection #2 – Elsa, Rapunzel, Dalmatian and Jasmine
