Disney Discovery: Classic Disney Movie Posters

My office space is currently lined with Disney Princess memorabilia. I wouldn’t have it any other way, even if people think that the students decorated my office. While I have a lot of Disney Princess items, I’m missing some old school Disney flair. These Classic Disney Movie Posters are just what I’ve been looking for to give my space a sprinkling of retro Disney charm.

While it’s starting to seem like when people think retro Disney, their mind goes to Beauty and the Beast and, *gasp*, The Lion King. That may be retro for some, but for me, when I think retro, my mind drifts back to the Disney classics. This includes tales like Dumbo and Bambi. This set of six touches on some of my favorites.

Not only are they capturing the classic tales, but the artwork on these posters looks like the original drawings as well. You’ll step back in time anytime that you enter a room with these pictures in it. I spent a lot of time looking at the posters, trying to decide which is my favorite. And, while I’m still not 100% sure, I think that it might be the Bambi poster. I like that one especially because it says “A great love story. At first, I was a little confused because I didn’t see how Bambi was romantic at all. Then I realized that they are talking about the relationship that Bambi has with his family. If that doesn’t make you go “Aww!”, I don’t think that anything will.

I think that they would make wonderful office decor. I could also see that they would be great in a nursery, a child’s room, or even in the room of a Disney Adult.
