2017 was the year of Pixar’s Coco. I have to say, I was pleased to see diversity represented in Disney films and I anticipated seeing how Disney planned to bring Dia de los Muertos into the story of Coco without making the skulls and skeletons too scary.
Dia de los Muertos design is typically colorful, and seemingly cheerful, with flowers and sugar skulls, which makes for a beautiful pattern and design to carry out on clothing, handbags, etc.
