Looking for something unique to give your coworker or friend for your annual Secret Santa gift exchange? These Disney Diamond Painting Coasters are something a little different from the typical coffee mugs that get gifted (Not that I wouldn’t turn down a good Disney Holiday Mug!). Not only are they practical, but the person who you give them to gets to decorate them. They are also a great item to have around the house to keep children entertained during an unexpected snow day.
When the diamond dot fad first came about, I hopped on the scene and got a Finding Nemo print. It was a great way to bond with my aunt, who was obsessed with diamond dot art at the time. The only thing that I wish I would have known was that it would have been a good idea to start with something smaller and then work myself up to the larger Finding Nemo piece. That’s why these 8 coaster sets are just perfect! You have 8 small pieces to work with, rather than one large piece that you need to take on. This way, you can accomplish one smaller work at a time and feel really good that you completed it. They are great for all skill levels and are something that families can do together. Maybe even while you are waiting for your holiday cookies to bake!
There are two different themes to choose from. The first is Mickey and Friends. This set includes 8 vibrantly colored coasters. There are three Mickey designs, three Minnie designs, and then one Pluto and one Donald design. I love the Donald image. It looks like he is giving you the evil eye because you didn’t use the coaster. Pluto is another cute image. I think that he is looking very thirsty and is about to lap up any drop of the drink that lands on the coaster. Mickey looks dapper in all three of his designs. I am particularly fond of the one where Mickey stands in front of a red and white striped background. It almost looks like he is running for President. I would vote for him!
The second set is a Stitch set. I was in awe from the second that I saw it. This set reminds me of stained glass artwork. Stitch poses in various stances on each coaster. He is looking calmer than I have seen him in a while. I wonder if he tried his hand with some of the Diamond dot art as well?
Stitch plays the ukulele on one of the coasters. On two others, it looks like he is getting ready for bed as he snuggles Scrump tightly. There are two coasters with outer space backgrounds where Stitch looks like he has gone back to his wild and crazy self and looks a little trippy. In another coaster, we see Stitch with a small butterfly in a field of green grass. And in the final two coasters, Stitch has a sheepish grin on his face. I am almost fooled by how incident he looks…almost.
