Children’s classics aren’t what they once were. For instance, my sister grew up to Sesame Street. While Sesame Street is still around, it ain’t like it used to be.
So imagine my joy when Disney took on The Muppets reboot with Jason Segel, hoping to introduce the Muppet family to new generations, restoring that classic touch.
Today’s Disney Discovery are the Irregular Choice x Disney The Muppets Party Animal flats.
The beauty is in the details with these flats. Fitting as a Muppet, these flats are fuzzy and feathery, packing a panache of color and attitude. It’s not so surprising that the colors of these flats are just as LOUD as the featured character himself – Animal.
I was able to see these flats in person at D23 Expo 2017 and they are everything you see pictured – and more! The sides feature silver glittery fabric with metallic studs and the edges are piped in pink glitter.
Even the inside of the flats are well-thought out with a Muppets pattern.
The backside features gold glitter and Animal text quote “LOUDER!”, with the pairing flat featuring an explanation point.
For such a statement shoe, $175 isn’t all that bad if you ask me!
