Jack Skellington is doing backflips in Halloween Town, I imagine. ‘Cause it’s his (AND MINE!) time of year where people get him. He is getting his fall moment and I have to say, I’m falling for him, too.
Today’s Disney Discovery is the Jack Skellington Light-up pumpkin.
The pumpkin measures 6″ and features a Jack Skellington design with cut-outs. It pairs with 2 AAA-batteries to create a beguiling Halloween glow.
As much as I love the activity of carving pumpkins – and saving the seeds to bake in the oven and sprinkle with salt or sugar/cinnamon, it’s a lot of work! Not to mention MESS. I have gotten somewhat lazy and opted for fake pumpkins.
Craft stores make them in all shapes and sizes now, it’s so easy to fake it with a cute Jack rendering or hand letter a message on it.
If you’re crafty, a hand lettered Nightmare quote would be a cute touch. Just a thought.
