I find it impossible to sleep in complete darkness. From a young age, I have always been scared of the dark and needed a night light to make me feel safe enough to go to sleep. It’s something that I have never outgrown. Even today, I use my Disney Princess night light with pride. I am always on the hunt for additional lights. This Disney Discovery, Minnie Mouse Night Light is just what I have been looking for.

This night light is perfect for several different reasons. First of all, the light lights up in 13 different colors. From red to white and everything in between, there is something that will work for everyone. And if you can’t decide, you also have the option of having the night light fade from one color to the next. One thing that I really appreciate is that the light can be dimmed. This is a great option for those people who only want a little bit of white light while they sleep.

The light is also just really cute. Disney fans of all ages will get a kick out of having a personal Minnie head beside their bed. While the colors of the light change, one thing that remains the same is the iconic red color of Minnie’s bow. Just one look at the bow and you will see why. It really pops, no matter what color the light is.

The light is also squishy, so if it falls, it won’t break. Also, if you feel more comfortable having the light in bed with you, especially while you are reading before bed, that can be an option too.

Finally, the light is very practical. Rather than using an outlet as a power source, this lamp has 3 AAA batteries so that even if the power goes out, the light will stay on. There is also the option to plug the lamp in with the USB cable that comes with the lamp.
