Disney Discovery: Sleeping Beauty Mini Backpack

There is absolutely nothing that I love more than some good Sleeping Beauty Merchandise. When her fairies are thrown into the mix, there is no stopping me, I have to have whatever it is! While perusing Amazon recently, I found my latest obsession, this Loungefly Sleeping Beauty Mini Backpack. It was in my shopping cart faster than you could say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo.

This bag is really a work of art! The top portion looks as though it is a needlepoint project. Just look at the elaborate stitching and you’ll see flowers, vines, and even Aurora’s fairies and spinning wheel.

Aurora and her prince dance among the clouds on the small zip-up pocket on the front of the bag. Birds fly all around them. I love the border on the pocket! It almost looks like real lace. The icing on the cake is the little zipper pull. All three of the fairies are flying high with their wands outstretched, ready for action.

There is more detailed stitching on the back of the bag. Aurora’s fairies are flying on the back of the bag, below is a quote from the movie.

Finally, in true Loungefly style, there isn’t a detail that is missed! There are both blue and pink accents on the interior lining of the bag. I had to stare at the lining for quite some time to make sure that I noticed every detail and I am so glad that I did! If you look closely, you will see the fairies, the spinning wheel, and even Aurora herself. I thought that it was cool that in some parts of the pattern it looks as though Aurora is gazing up at one of the fairies.
