Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore… they are all classic childhood favorites and friends of us all.
Today’s Disney Discovery is the Winnie the Pooh “Keep Me in Your Heart” Necklace.
You know the old saying “Do as I say and not as I do.”? Pooh is one who does as he says, by literally popping up in your heart (pendant).
This Disney Discovery tugs at my heart strings.
This 18″ stering silver necklace features a heart pendant with a Pooh face and script engraving reading “Keep me in your heart.” The script comes from a longer Pooh quote: “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” My dear, late mom had this quote pinned on one of her boards and ever since this realization, the graphic has been my phone background in homage. She was/is my person, the Snoopy to my Woodstock and I suppose per the quote graphic, the Pooh to my Piglet leading me on my way, hand in hand and heart entwined.
Not that I need reminding to do so, but I will forever keep her in my heart and on my mind.
