Disney Genie Service Debuts on October 19th at Walt Disney World!

It’s the news that Disney fans have been looking forward to (or dreading) – Disney Genie Service launches on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Walt Disney World.

Part of the My Disney Experience app, Disney Genie is complimentary and available for all guests. It functions as a “personalized itinerary creator that effortlessly and smartly maps out an entire day.” The coolest feature is that this service combines what you tell Disney you love as well as real time updates so you can make the most of your park time. Sounds pretty magical to me! This app reduces your time in lines (while keeping in mind your top picks), paces your day with new experiences, and builds your itinerary around existing plans like dining reservations and Park Hopper preferences.

Disney Genie+ Service

This debut also includes the launch of the Lightning Lane entrance. The Disney Genie+ add-on has two options – as Disney Genie+ Service which works for more than 40 attractions, or individually at Disney World’s most highly demanded attractions (like Flight of Passage and Rise of the Resistance). While standby queues (and from time to time, virtual queues at select attractions) will still be offered, Disney Genie+ will save you time waiting in line!
