I had to get this news to you immediately when I saw the pictures on FB of these Michael Kors Disney bags. Karen McKenzie-Green was generous enough to give me a bit of information and let me share her pictures with you all. Is it true?? Did Disney and Michael Kors release a collection overseas??
This bag was purchased in Turkey. Apparently, I need to get myself overseas before my honeymoon! Mickey is the main Mouse on this print but you can even see Minnie, if you look closely. The bag looks like a lot like MK tote bag on this side of the ocean with the exception of the top. This tote looks to be completely square shaped and MK totes here tend to be a tad wider at the top than the bottom.
The question is, is this a a real MK bag or is it a very clever knock off? I was just saying the other day that is the next collaboration that needs to be announced after Kate Spade and the rumored Coach collaboration. Has it actually happened overseas?? I have searched high and low for more info and have come up short. I promise to keep you posted if I learn more about this fantastic print!

Sounds suspicious to me. Besides the obvious discrepancies in the bag design, why would MK or Disney release anything first in Turkey (no offense)? Fake or not, it’s absolutely adorable and is a wonderful fusion of Dooney & Burke whimsy with Michael Kors framework and stability…I want one!!
I have to agree on the suspiciousness of only releasing this in Turkey? I would love to find out if it’s the real thing. And definitely waiting for the Coach bags to be released!
