I know that many of us have been anxiously awaiting the release of the Princess Half marathon 2015 Dooney & Bourke bags. They have finally arrived! I have the pictures of three of the designs and am unsure if there will be more but I didn’t want to wait to get the info out to you. I do not have prices at this time either but I assume that information will be released within the next few days and I promise to update you the second I know! In the meantime, let’s take a look at this beautiful Princess print!
The color palette looks to be this gorgeous eggplant and lilac color, though the pictures could be deceiving. You will find many of our favorite Princesses posing beautifully as well. Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel are all present and accounted for. The scroll around each of the images is quite regal and I love the fact that they look like they are posing for a portrait. The leather trim, in the light tan color that many to most of the Dooney & Bourke’s have, is a fun contrast to the color scheme. I truly feel like this is one of the more regal looking bags that have been released in the last little while and that’s all to do with the color scheme.
There are 3 designs, as seen above. They range in size, as usual, from small for those looking for the print but perhaps a more affordable bag within their budget, to the larger satchel that is more functional for those who carry a lot with them. I, personally, enjoy the mid size because it carries what I need and not much more. There may be more designs released as more info becomes available but that is not confirmed. I love the script on the tag to tell us this bag is for the “Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon 2015”.
I hope to have more information for you very, very soon… perhaps later today! These bags are available (or will be) for participants in the event and no one else. I’ve discussed the process at length in other articles pertaining to runDisney Dooney & Bourke bags but the bottom line is, they are there for the participants and the left overs are available to the public that attend the expo in limited quantities. I will also have links for how you can get your hands on them through our personal shopper in the week or 2 to come so stay tuned.

My cousin is running in the Princess Half Marathon. I will have to tell her about these adorable bags. Disney definitely offers really great merchandise for their marathons.
