Kith has joined Converse once again, and this time it is to celebrate the anniversary of Mickey Mouse’s 90th Birthday! This will be a three part collaboration, for a stunning Disney Sneaker Collection.
The collection features three core styles of Converse 1970’s Chuck Taylor. There is a classic canvas, a leather rendition of the high top, and a very cozy looking sherpa style.
The classic canvas showcases varying styles of Mickey Mouse’s face. These are a classic off white, and the iconic red, blue, and black elements of the original Chuck Taylors really shine on this pair. My favorite detail about these is that they used the black metal eyelets for the laces, as Mickey’s ears!
The all-leather pair actually features a timeline of Mickey Mouse through the years artwork! The colorful versions of Mickey are debossed on sleek black leather for a look that is classic but pops with a bit of modern edge.
Finally, there is the Sherpa style. These are color-blocked with red and black to represent the original colors of the one and only, Mickey Mouse.
All three styles of the converse shoes are co-branded on the sole. They also offer two styles of co-branded laces. If you’re a major converse fan, that means you can even do the double lacing style with this collection! These shoes will be for everyone too, with available sizing ranging from 3.5Y to 13 Mens.
More than Shoes!
The collection doesn’t stop at just shoes though! There will also be a gorgeous Mickey through the years plush collection, and apparel items available too. Kitch actually developed over 150 different fabrics! They used these fabrics for 8 of Mickey’s iterations in his 90 years to use for the apparel collection!
Disney Sneaker Collection by Kith releases Monday, November 18th at all Kith shops, and at 11:00 AM EST on Kith.com.
