I think we can all agree that Jim Shore has some incredible Disney art work. Disney Traditions are incredibly popular and I have always wondered about the artist behind the creations. I no longer have to wonder. I do however need to get myself to California for the Disney Traditions signing with Jim Shore.
If you are lucky enough to be at Disneyland July 25th, you have the opportunity to meet Jim Shore AND be present for the unveiling of the newest figurine in the Disney Traditions collection created to commemorate the Diamond Celebration! Princess Aurora is the newest Disney Tradition, which makes sense, seeing as how it is her castle at Disneyland and this is for the Disneyland Diamond Celebration. Look for special features on this new piece, including a Jim Shore folk pattern and added diamond patterning that makes up Aurora’s blue hue dress, which is a nod to the Diamond Celebration color palette. You’ll also find special touches like a crystal diamond that appears in Aurora’s crown, as well as a Walt Disney-like figure walking with Mickey Mouse through Sleeping Beauty Castle in the relief of the dress.
If you are going to be at Disneyland on July 25th, the following is where you will find Jim Shore’s scheduled appearances:
July 25: China Closet, Disneyland® park (9a.m. – 11a.m.)
July 25: World of Disney® Store, Downtown Disney® District (3p.m. – 5p.m.)
