There is something truly irresistible and appealing about a Disney Villain. I mean, they have tons of style, sass, and usually the best musical numbers. Sure, a hero is great and we all cheer for them, but isn’t there a part of you that just loves the villain? With this idea in mind, I set out to find a collection of purses and handbags inspired by all of our favorite evil-doers.
I am a self-proclaimed purse-a-holic! I love buying them, carrying them, collecting them; there is just something magical about a really great bag. I also have really expensive taste. When I set out on this evil mission (hehe, I’ve always wanted to be apart of an evil mission…), I was not out to find ridiculously expensive bags. But that’s exactly what happened.
I hope you enjoy this collection of Disney Villain inspired purses and handbags. The prices are just as evil as the villains themselves.
The Evil Queen: The original bad girl! The Evil Queen definitely has a style all her own. I mean, who else could pull off a collared cape like she does? This Hermes bag is the perfect match for the Evil Queen’s ultimate quest for beauty and perfection. Running a mere $135,000, the Hermes 35cm Horseshoe Birkin in Ultra Violet and Rose is truly fit for an (evil) Queen. Mostly because nobody else can afford it.
Maleficent: There’s a chance Maleficent is my favorite Disney Villain. She is just so…evil! And the girl knows how to make an entrance at a party! Remember when she crashed Aurora’s Christening and didn’t even bat an eye? That is some serious villain style. This Elvira Femme Fatale Kiss Lock Handbag by Lux De Ville for $87.99 will help you make an entrance at any party you plan on crashing. Also to note, this is the least expensive purse on the list.
Ursula: Everybody’s favorite sea witch is known for stealing voices and gathering poor unfortunate souls. We don’t hear too much about Ursula’s amazing style, but it’s so good, I had to include a purse that was just as fishy as she is. This Judith Lieber bedazzled fish purse will run you about $5,995. Maybe we can trade in our voices for it? At least for one night out?
Mother Gothel: If it’s true that Mother knows best, then we should all take a fashion cue from this one. Mother Gothel may have some outdated Cher hair, but her villain style is still on point. And so is this gorgeous Tod’s Bag! This is my favorite bag that I came across and I just wish I had an extra $1,260 laying around to scoop it up.
Cruella De Vil: If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will. I was truly afraid of Cruella as a child. But as an adult, I envy her style! But I will take some faux fur instead thank you very much! Don’t worry, no dogs were harmed to make this this Alexander Wang Dalmation Prisma Biker Purse. This one is a “bargain” at $324.
Queen of Hearts: This is a Queen who knows what she wants, and what she wants is everything to be painted red! The Queen of Hearts has a larger than life fashion game, so of course, I had to include two purses for her. Hopefully she would approve, or else it’s off with my head. The first one, is kind of a cop out on my part – but it’s just too stunning to resist! Another Judith Lieber design, this one costs $900. The second one is more for fans of Disneybounding. The Love Moschino Red Quilted Eco Leather Heart Clutch will make you Queen of your kingdom at $210.
This is where I was going to end my post. I was planning on featuring the Evil ladies of Disney and leaving the guys out of it. But then I found something. It was like this bag knew what I was questing after. So, here is one bonus Villain bag..
Gaston: If Gaston was a handbag – this would be it! The bag is almost as gorgeous as Gaston himself, and better yet, you don’t have to hear it talk! This Marni City Pod bag costs $1,685.
If you are a fan of Disney Villains (and really, who isn’t?!) incorporating their evil style can be a fun way to bring some Disney into your everyday life. Of course, most of these bags are too expensive for pretty much everyone I know, but it’s still fun to dream!
