The Disney x Formula 1 partnership is back and bigger than ever for the 2026 race season. After sparking a cultural moment at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2025 — including Mickey Mouse’s unforgettable takeover of the Fountains of Bellagio — Disney and Formula 1 are continuing their multi-year “Fuel the Magic” collaboration with new content, immersive fan experiences, and must-have merchandise drops around the globe.
If you love the energy of Grand Prix weekends and the timeless charm of Mickey & Friends, this is where storytelling, sport, and style collide.
A Season-Long Story Begins in Australia

The 2026 campaign kicks off at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix with a racing-inspired content series, setting the tone for a season that blends high-octane thrills with Disney magic. From there, the celebration shifts into high gear at the Chinese Grand Prix and continues throughout select race weekends worldwide.
Tasia Filippatos, President of Disney Consumer Products, shared that this year is about turning last year’s cultural moment into a season-long story. And that story begins in a whole new way — digitally.
Mickey x Formula 1 Hits WEBTOON
Disney and WEBTOON have teamed up to debut Mickey X Formula 1 Racing to the Top! — an original vertical comic series launching March 6 during the Australian Grand Prix.
New episodes will drop throughout the 2026 race season, timed to race weekends. Designed for a new generation of fans, the series follows Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they support a racing team in crisis. Expect themes of teamwork, friendship, and perseverance set against the drama and excitement of elite racing.
It’s a brilliant way to keep fans engaged between races while expanding the world of Mickey & Friends into Formula 1 culture.
“Fuel the Magic” Fanzone Pop-Ups
Beginning at the Chinese Grand Prix (March 13–15), select Formula 1 races will feature “Fuel the Magic” fanzone retail pop-ups. These will include:
- Race-specific pieces inspired by each host city
- A core Disney x Formula 1 collection
- Merchandise available at the F1 Hub, Grand Prix Plaza, and online at F1.com
Select weekends will also feature special Disney entertainment experiences, with Mickey & Friends showing up in stylish Formula 1 fandom looks.
First Look: Fashion Meets the Track
The campaign images give us a glimpse at how fashion-forward this collaboration is becoming.

We’re seeing elevated streetwear silhouettes featuring Mickey-inspired racing graphics, bold typography, and motorsport patches. Oversized tees showcase wheel-inspired Mickey iconography, while track jackets blend deep racing greens with embroidered details and “Fuel the Magic” graphics across the back.

There’s even a Shanghai-inspired hoodie featuring Mickey holding a bold red racing graphic, proving that each city on the race calendar will influence the style direction.

Accessories are taking center stage, too. Branded caps feature Mickey racing logos, and a Mickey plush dressed in a Formula 1 uniform is launching first in Australia before rolling out globally later this year. For collectors, that plush is going to be a standout piece from this partnership.
Gentle Monster 2026 Circuit Collection
One of the most fashion-forward collaborations in the lineup comes from Gentle Monster. The 2026 Circuit Collection reimagines the structural language of Formula 1 cars into bold eyewear silhouettes.

The collection features eight styles crafted from lightweight, durable materials, including three exclusive designs inspired by Mickey & Friends and Formula 1. From sleek red performance frames to racing-inspired lens detailing, these sunglasses merge track aesthetics with everyday wearability.
Pop-up experiences in Seoul and Shanghai will bring the collection to life, complete with a monumental Mickey sculpture displayed alongside a Formula 1 car.
More Drops Coming Soon
Following the debut Disney x Formula 1 collection in Las Vegas last year, Disney Store will continue expanding the assortment throughout 2026. In addition to Gentle Monster, new collaborations with Uniqlo and other global licensees are planned.
Expect apparel, accessories, plush, collectibles, and limited-edition pieces that reflect both racing culture and the personalities of Mickey & Friends.
As someone who loves seeing Disney step confidently into fashion spaces beyond the parks, this feels like a major evolution.
The Bigger Picture
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, emphasized that this is more than a sports partnership. It’s an immersive cultural collaboration that blends entertainment, digital storytelling, product design, and fan experience.
“Fuel the Magic” represents Disney and Formula 1 uniting two passionate global fanbases. Racing culture brings adrenaline and innovation. Disney brings heart and storytelling. Together, they’re building something that feels authentic to each city and meaningful to fans around the world.
To follow along with the 2026 race season and future product reveals, keep an eye on @mickeymouse and @f1 on social media and watch for updates using #FuelTheMagic.
This season, the magic isn’t just at the finish line — it’s everywhere along the track.
