For a few years now, artists have been hand-painting and designing Toms with beautiful Disney inspirations. Obviously, it only made sense that a Disney x Toms Collaboration would be in the cards, and it looks like a collab really is happening!
According to Foot Wear News a new collection from Disney and Toms, that will also include sunglasses is set to debut this summer. A 30-piece collection will launch for women and kids using rarely seen original artwork from Walt Disney archives. Prices for the women’s shoes will range $65 to $75, and the kids’ between $49 to $59. The eyewear, will retail from $170 to $190 for women and $90 for children. The eyewear is a little pricey but I will need to see it in person before I judge.
According to Foot Wear News, the statement from Tom’s says the goal of the collaboration is to “empower women and girls in the pursuit of their dreams. [It’s] for those who break glass ceilings, not glass slippers.”
The new collection will debut with Cinderella and friends Gus and Jaq on June 21st. The second launch will be July 19th, with Sleeping Beauty. The original Disney Princess, Snow White has not been forgotten, and will walk onto the scene with the seven dwarfs August 23rd. I am loving that three classic princesses are the stars of the new collections!
