After being closed for over a year, Disneyland Resort is officially reopening! Guests will be allowed to enjoy Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park beginning April 30th. Guests can already enter the Downtown Disney District and starting April 29th, Guests will be able to stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will reopen May 2nd! Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen at a later date. I know that everyone is itching to experience just a tiny piece of that magic we have been missing!
Of course, things will be a bit different with new guidelines and limited capacity, but you can bet everything will still be magical! You will get to enjoy your favorite classic attractions, new adventures, and even reimagined attractions like Snow White’s Enchanted Wish! This attraction will open to Guests for the very first time! Characters will also pop up in new and unexpected places to allow you to maintain social distance while still interacting with them!
Like Walt Disney World Resort, parades and nighttime spectaculars will return at a later date and attendance will be managed through a park pass reservation system. To enter the parks, you will need to have both valid admission and a park pass for that day. More information about how this system operates will be available at a later date. It is also important to note that currently only California residents will be able to visit the parks.
