Exciting transformations are continuing across Disneyland Paris, with major updates announced for 2026 and beyond. From new shows and attraction enhancements to large-scale hotel and dining refurbishments, the resort is preparing for a bold new era that will officially begin when Walt Disney Studios Park becomes Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026.
Disneyland Paris Expansions and Updates Coming in 2026

One of the first updates arriving in early 2026 is the return of the Dream Factory. After a brief intermission, the show will reopen on February 7 with an all-new story focused on teamwork and creativity. Minnie Mouse steps into the spotlight as the caring director of the factory, joined by Chip ‘n’ Dale as the comedic duo, Donald Duck handling technical operations, and Daisy Duck bringing her signature enthusiasm to the team. Guests can expect refreshed visuals, playful nods to Minnie throughout the space, a vibrant new lighting atmosphere, and brand-new costumes created exclusively at Disneyland Paris.

Disney Village will also see significant changes beginning January 5, 2026, when Annette’s Diner closes for a major refurbishment. The beloved retro restaurant will receive expanded kitchen space and a full dining room redesign while preserving its classic 1950s charm. Updates include new floors, furniture, refreshed design elements, and booths in candy-pink and turquoise-blue tones. When Annette’s reopens, it will continue serving its signature burgers alongside its iconic Rock ’n’ Roll atmosphere.
The transformation of Disney Village continues with several new dining and shopping experiences. The Sports Bar & Lounge has recently reopened with immersive décor and a redesigned terrace. Pelé Soccer, the brand’s first European store, is set to open soon, and early 2026 will bring the largest McDonald’s in France, designed with playful Disneyland Paris details. Casa Giulia, a two-story Italian restaurant, is under construction and scheduled to open by the end of 2026, while the Disney Store is being reimagined into Disney Wonders with a more immersive retail experience.

Disney Sequoia Lodge will begin a phased refurbishment in January 2026, similar in scope to recent hotel transformations at Disneyland Paris. The hotel will remain open during construction, with refreshed spaces paying tribute to nature, forest landscapes, and wildlife while preserving its cozy, woodsy charm.

Several attractions are also receiving enhancements. Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy has been undergoing a major refurbishment since October 2025. Updates include a new queue scene set in a Parisian artist’s studio, enhanced projections, new props, and oversized set pieces designed to deepen the sense of being shrunk to Remy’s size.

In spring 2026, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will debut a new covered outdoor queue inspired by the remnants of a once-luxurious hotel patio, complete with storytelling details and atmospheric props. Nearby, a new Art Deco-inspired merchandise location themed as a 1930s flower shop will open in early 2026.

Frontierland will also see updates by the end of summer 2026, with new scenes along the Rivers of the Far West at Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. Inspired by original Marc Davis sketches, these additions include newly designed animal figures and scenic storytelling elements, all viewed from the freshly refurbished Molly Brown riverboat.

All of these projects lead into the biggest change of all: the launch of Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026. The expansion includes World of Frozen, Adventure Way, new dining locations, Raiponce Tangled Spin, and the groundbreaking nighttime spectacular “Disney Cascade of Lights.” The show will feature aquatic drones, immersive projections, and an emotional orchestral score recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

Looking even further ahead, new attractions inspired by The Lion King and Pixar’s Up are already in development.
These announcements offer just a glimpse of what’s to come as Disneyland Paris enters its next chapter, with even more magic on the horizon. It’s clear that Disneyland Paris is going to be truly magical in 2026!
