If you are like me, you stalk the newest Dooney and Bourke bag design, even if you aren’t going to be able to get it. The Dooney and Bourke bags from the Star Wars Half Marathon- The Light Side at Disneyland is one of those bags. I am not participating but I am dying to see the pattern… or should I say was. This pattern was kept under wraps until today! The Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon- The Light Side Dooney and Bourke bags have been revealed!
I have to say, I love this pattern! I am not even a Star Wars die hard fan but I really like this pattern. It is incredibly bright and fun and I love that it is more of a patchwork design, as opposed to the typical background color with different images on top. It is impossible to see what the background color of this bag is… if there even is one! These pictures come to us from Gina Fortunato from the group Disney Park and Hotel Pickups and I cannot thank her and the group enough for letting me share them with you!
It would appear that we get three styles, as per the usual. A wristlet, a small crossbody bucket and a large Kristin crossbody are the designs for this pattern. I can’t believe there are 2 crossbody bags! I love this style for the Parks!!! The small crossbody is the one I have my eye on.
This bag is all about proper placement. I want one featuring BB8 and R2 D2! The deal is that, to get these bags, you need to be attending the Expo at the Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon- The Light Side weekend but, if you can find a personal shopper, there is a chance you could still get one. I would check out the group I mentioned above!

I love this design! I haven’t liked any of the previous Star Wars bags even though I AM a huge Star Wars fan. This one just looks really cute. I’ve seen the previous bags available via the shop Disney parks app. I wonder if these might be available there too? I won’t be running in the races, so I don’t have a chance of buying it in person. Thanks for sharing the photos!
It seems that, much of the time, the race designs end up in the Park stores or on the App with just a slight twist and without the tag from whichever event they were for. This gives me hope we may be able to get our hands on them!
