Disney’s Contemporary Resort Room Remodel is Incredible!

The Contemporary holds a special place in my heart because it is where I stayed during my first visit to Walt Disney World. I also love how close it is to the Magic Kingdom and that the monorail runs right through it! While The Contemporary has changed quite a bit over the years, it has managed to maintain its retro modern charm. The most recent Disney’s Contemporary Resort room remodel is underway and it is incredible!

The new room has a sleek monorail and The Incredibles theme.  When Disney first announced the remodel, I thought the addition of characters would be too cutesy. But, I now have to admit that I was wrong! The Incredibles theming is subtle with some artwork, throw pillows and a few hidden touches. For example, the closet has an adorable superhero costume backdrop!

The new bathroom is beautiful too! Hotel bathrooms tend to lack space for toiletries and other necessities but this one has it in spades. There is plenty of counter space in addition to storage under the sinks. Even though the entire bathroom is gorgeous, the monorail etching on the massive mirror is my favorite part!
