My number one, go-to Halloween costume is a new set of ears. They can transform a plain look and make you Halloween ready in a matter of seconds. I’m so happy to have found Etsy because I can always find a new set of really unique and creative Halloween Ears in no time. These latest ears are no exception!
The Nightmare Before Christmas Ears
When I think about Disney and Halloween, one of the first things that I think of is The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is one of my favorite movies and my family has now come to expect that from late August to early January, the movie will be playing on repeat. So Nightmare Before Christmas Ears are a must-have in my household.
I loved this first set of ears because Jack doesn’t look like his normal self. He looks positively loving and pleasant. He gazes out longingly at Sally. It almost makes me a little sad that Sally and Jack aren’t on the same ear. Sally also looks very calm. Almost as though she is daydreaming about Jack. The headband itself is black, with just a hint of sparkle and has a matching black sparkly bow. Each ear has a color-coordinated black string of beads around its edge.
The second set of Nightmare Before Christmas Ears is another great choice. These ears have a very artsy flair that really appeals to me. The ears and headband are all black and white. The only burst of color comes from the pumpkin orange bow in the center of the ears, which really pops against the black and white backdrop. The detailed artwork on each ear is also very impressive. I suggest soaking it all in for yourself, but one thing that stood out for me was the Jack-O-Lantern in a box flying above Jack and Sally.
Classic Disney Ears
There are also two ears that have a more classic Disney Halloween look. Mickey is all ready for trick-or-treating on the first set of ears. He has a pumpkin costume and is eating purple and orange candy. The sequined orange bow looks like one of Mickey’s sweet Halloween treats. Spiders weave their webs all around in the background.
The final set of ears is definitely a standout! There isn’t a centimeter of the piece that doesn’t have a sequin on it. The headband is black with orange ears that say “Boo to You.” The look is complete with a black bow and black beaded trim.
