I’m ready to celebrate Minnie’s Happy Place, are you? Yesterday we shared a sneak peek at the new collection and today it is here just in time to grab in time for Mother’s Day!
There are 4 silhouettes, as we expected, in this collection. I am guessing one of them was meant to be the Annual Passholder silhouette but, as we all know, they don’t have those online usually. Therefore, we have 4 gorgeous silhouettes to pick from and we can get a much better look at the overall pattern!
I’m going to talk about the overall pattern first because I adore it! Minnie is super styling on this bag! The concept of the art is that Minnie is out enjoying a day at a Disney Park! This could clearly be at any of the Parks with a castle so you don’t have to worry about Disney World or Disneyland getting their own version. All for one and one for all on this bag! Minnie is strolling Main Street USA, having a cup of coffee (or tea), sitting on a bench and hanging at the castle. Sounds like a typical day for me at the Parks if you ask me!
First up is the smallest bag in the collection, not to mention the one that I want the most. Of course, I am talking about the crossbody ($198). I always rant that I love this silhouette the most and (if you saw the video of my closet) I think I have more than proven that this is the one I buy the most. This silhouette is a bit different than the usual crossbody as it almost looks like a bucket bag. I am loving the zipper in the front. You can find this one HERE.
There’s a hobo bag in this print and those don’t come around every day in a Disney Dooney print. This really is just a larger version of the crossbody but I am guessing fashionistas that bring more than essentials with them to the Park will LOVE it! This one retails for $268 and can be found HERE.
The satchel is a popular silhouette and I admit I am a fan of this one also. That longer strap makes it easy to also wear as a crossbody. There is no outside zipper on this one but I do love the large black band around the bottom. It makes it a tad more difficult for placement but adds a nice contrast! This one retails HERE for $268.
As we mentioned yesterday, the tote is one large image of Minnie taking a break by the castle enjoying her bevvie. I personally think she looks very Parisian in her red striped shirt and scarf and that just makes me want it more. The polka dots on the mug, awnings, and umbrella are a cute touch! This bag retails for $268 which tells me it is probably a smaller tote.
I think this collection is perfection, even if it is reminiscent of the Minnie Cafe or Mickey and Minnie Downtown. You can find all of the bags HERE on shopDisney!
