We have been waiting for a new Dream Big Princess Collection from Dooney and Bourke since Snow White was released last Fall.. last Fall! It feels like forever ago but the wait is finally over. This coming week, around May 3rd (not sure if that will be the exact day), Cinderella will be the new muse of the Dream Big Princess Dooney and Bourke Collection!
It was a couple of weeks ago that we were teased with this tote bag on the Disney Springs Twitter feed. The word “Bourke” was spelled incorrectly and the Dooney and Bourke logo could not be found anywhere so I was skeptical to believe it was really the next Princess Dooney to be released. It has been confirmed that this is in fact the next Princess Dooney!
As with all releases for the Dream Big Princess Dooneys, the tote bag has a large Princess image and the smaller bags released in the collection have an entirely different print. I have seen the print and it does not disappoint but I don’t have an photo to share… yet. I can tell you that there is a wallet/wristlet and a satchel in addition to the tote.
I will admit I am not a fan of the tote. I feel like this Cinderella looks remarkably like the Princesses on the Princess Collection we recently shared that is now available at the parks. That is general merch… not Dooney and Bourke price point merch. The print on the smaller pieces are a different story.
The print includes a lovely, delicate pattern that includes images of the carriage, the glass slipper and Gus and Jacques. The background is blue…. it’s really lovely.
