The Dress Shop is one of my favorite shops to check out when I go to Disneyland and that’s not just because it replaced The Vault which was my favorite. Both the Vault and The Dress Shop carried/carry the incredible dress designs that every fashionista swoons over. The newest to arrive is a new Tiki Dress from Pinup Girl Clothing that is going to have me heading straight to Trader Sams for a drink to show it off!
This dress is not made by Disney but I have been told it is being carried at The Dress Shop. It is also available on the Pinup Girl website HERE. Now Enchanted Tiki fans can have both this dress and the one created by Disney!!! This dress looks to have a natural waist line, instead of an empire waist, and thinner straps than the Disney dress had.
The print is comprised of purple, green, blue and black which I love. This color combo really works! The images are very tiki inspired. In fact the print is called Tiki Tiles. It makes me think it is more of a Trader Sams inspired dress to be honest.
This dress was spotted at Disneyland’s Dress Shop but not yet at Disney World’s…. at least to my knowledge. If I am wrong, please let me know! This is expected to arrive in Florida, or at least that’s what the rumor mill is saying. As I said above, you don’t have to wait for it to arrive because it is available online HERE in this dress, pants, shirt and skirt!
Which of the tiki dresses is your favorite? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
