I just spent my morning calling and booking my Epcot Food and Wine Festival signature and culinary events, thanks to my Chase Disney Visa. Now that I have everything taken care of in the booking department, I am ready to plan for what merchandise I want to buy. This year, the merchandise for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival 20th anniversary does not disappoint. I am going to need a fourth job! Allow me to show you why!
There are three distinct art programs for this year’s merchandise. The World Showcase logo program includes icons from each of the 11 pavilions. The Disney character program will feature Figment (I love him and my mom LOVES him) and Mickey Mouse dressed as chefs. We will also offer a “Brews Around the World” assortment, a returning favorite from previous years.
Do you see what I see? I had to start with this picture because it showcases the new Dooney and Bourke bags the best! That letter carrier is mine! I think this could be my favorite Epcot Food and Wine Festival Dooney and Bourke in a long time. It won’t be available at Disney Store online so I have my personal shopper on standby, ready to help with that issue! The design is certainly amped up for the 20th anniversary celebration! I also love the fact that Remy is having such a big part in this year’s festival. Above, you can see his Limited Release pin.
What is my next favorite thing about being at Epcot in general (behind the food, of course)… Figment!! I am thrilled to see that Figment has a new ornament and a mug! I love the handle of the mug! It’s Figment’s tail!!! The 3rd design of the Dooney and Bourke bags can also be seen above.
There have to be tee shirts to commemorate any major event and I think the Figment one may be coming home with me. I also love the Chef’s hat. You can expect to see me posting pics wearing that for sure! I am not a baseball cap girl but there are a few different styles that compliment the shirts nicely!
You can’t talk about the Epcot Food and Wine Festival without mentioning food and wine! I have started collecting wine glasses each year and I really like this year’s design. I think my fave thing in the above picture, though, are the salt and pepper shakers. I know they have released the garbage can salt and pepper designs for Adventureland but I am needing the Food and Wine Festival ones!
We talk about drinking around the World quite a bit (not that I have ever successfully gotten past a few countries….)Above you can see the beer glasses that represent the types of beer available for this year’s festival, among other commemorative items like pins, magnets and dish towels.
That’s all I know for now but, from that, I have learned that I need to start saving!! What do you love from the Epcot Food and Wine Festival 20th Anniversary merchandise?? Let us know in the comment box below!
Thanks to Disney parks Blog for the pictures!
