Can I see your pins? This was a phrase I heard multiple times every single day when I was completing my Disney College Program. Trading pins can be so much fun! Whether you are hunting for the last piece in a collection, or just searching for pins that catch your eye, pin trading is an awesome way to interact with Cast Members and have some fun.
While I do have a small hoard of pins that I keep for trading purposes, I also have pins that I would never ever trade! And the new pins for Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival would definitely go in my “keeper” pile. Let’s take a closer look at this year’s new designs.
First up on the list is this fun four-pack. In this limited edition pin set, you get a few of your favorite characters posing with their favorite ice cream cones. Mickey Mouse is first holding a cone with Mickey ears. Second is Donald Duck posing with an ice cream cone that looks to be inspired by Chip and Dale. Next up is Kronk and his ice cream looks like Yzma’s fancy hairdo. And finally, Stitch is holding an ice cream version of Scrump.
Next up is a fold-able and whimsical pin inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Made especially for Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival 2017, these limited edition pins are perfect for celebrating your very merry un-birthday! At first glance, this Disney pin features the Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland. But upon closer inspection, the pin unfolds to also feature the March Hare and the Mad Hatter.
Take a trip to Italy with this limited edition pin featuring Lady and the Tramp. Of course Food and Wine festival puts some of our favorite dishes front and center – so this pin also puts the spaghetti and meatballs front and center! This is an iconic scene from a Disney animated classic!
The last pin is my favorite. This limited release pin is made especially for Annual Passholders and shows Figment proudly standing behind the Food and Wine Festival sign. And is it just me, or does that font remind you of Schoolhouse Rock? Anyways, this pin is a great way to capture those Food and Wine Festival memories. And there is no way I would trade any of these pins!
