Some Disney fans collect mouse ears, while others collect Disney Pins. I, on the other hand, collect Disney socks. There are about 2 draws full in my room and that is probably underestimating my ever-growing collection. I could literally wear a different pair of Disney socks every day for at least a month. My fandom goes back to the release of the original Inside Out movie when the Disney store had a set of socks that came with a different pair of socks for each of the emotions. For me, they were even better than days of the week underwear. I could say what I was feeling on my socks. Recently we found these Disney Parks Socks while exploring one of the parks. I can’t wait to add a pair or two (or three!) to my collection.
The first pair of socks is a playful polka dot and bow pair. Minnie Mouse poses for her audience as she floats around amongst the dots and bows.
The second set is a great option for the summer. Ariel clutches a yellow shell as Flounder watches on. The drawing of the characters on these socks is very simplistic, which makes the socks even more appealing to me. I love how very innocent both Ariel and Flounder look. I usually go barefoot in the summer. If that’s not an option, I would be more than happy to have these socks on my feet.
Next up is this four parks icons sock set. At first thought, you might not think that all the major landmarks would blend in so well with one another, but they really do on these socks. All of the colors work well together and it seems like one landmark just naturally flows to the next. I also like the common theme of the fireworks in the background and the little silhouettes of the park attractions and rides that are hidden in the background pattern of the socks.
It seems like Cinderella has been in the spotlight a lot recently. She has an amazing Vera Bradley collection and now here she is again on a pair of socks. The drawing on these socks is very simplistic, just like the Ariel pair. What I love most about these socks is the attitude that Cinderella is giving off. She has one hand on her hip and a glass slipper is dangling from her other hand. It looks like all she needs is herself and her animal friends to take on the day. So doesn’t need a prince.
The final two sets of socks are these Stitch pairs. The first pair has a blue All Over Print of Stitch in the background with a large growling Stitch in the center. He appears to be trying to look scary, but he is way too cute to pull it off. The second Stitch pair is a blue tropical set. Stitch is floating around on the socks with tropical flowers all around him. Clearly, he is ready for summer to begin.
