The new Live Action Mulan film debuts at the end of this month! To commemorate we’re seeing all kinds of great Mulan items, with inspirations from the original animated film, to the new live action film! Our newest find it the fearless and fierce new Mulan Alex And Ani bangle!
The Mulan bangle joins the other Disney Princess bangles with a double-sided charm. Just like we have seen at the more recent Princess bracelets, it has full-color cloisonné charm! It also has a quote inspired by the princess on the other side.
Mulan is seen looking thoughtfully at pink flowers on the front of the charm. The background is a soft pink, which compliments the overall look of the charm beautifully. One of the first things I noticed, and love about this charm, is the metal! This bracelet is actually a gunmetal finish, instead of the usual shiny silver, or gold.
The gunmetal is a fantastic choice because it really embraces the theme of Mulan more. It has a less flashy look with a metal that reminds me of swords and armor!
The reverse side of the charm is a pastel yellow that reads “Live with honor”, a perfect inspiration that reminds us of Mulan. The pink flowers from the front also continue onto the back, to give the charm a very complete look.
