As a person who celebrates Hanukkah, I always feel a little bit ripped off because of the lack of Hanukkah merchandise that is available. Well, this year, we seem to have hit the jackpot and found the motherload of Disney Hanukkah Items. You can check out all of the new items here. I’m about to go a little crazy with my wallet and am not the least bit sorry about it.
Light-Up Items
It only seems fitting that merchandise for the Festival of Lights would light up and Disney did not disappoint! There are two perfect items that are ready to spread some extra light into your life. The first one is this Loungefly mini backpack. Minnie and Mickey eagerly watch as the dreidels spin and the lights on the Hanukkiah. They are both dressed in blue to mark the occasion. On the back, Mickey and Minnie continue to play dreidel. From the look of the two stacks of gelt, Minnie must be winning. When the lights go down, you can turn on the candles on the Hanukkiah for an extra bit of sparkle.
The second light up item is a pair of Minnie Mouse ears, complete with a blue rhinestone Minnie bow at the center of the ears. Like the mini backpack, all of the candles on the Hanukkiah light up when you turn them on. There are little white flowers, dreidels, and tiny white mouse heads swirling all around the ears.
Clothing
The collection includes something for the entire family. First of all, there is an extra comfy Hanukkah Pullover Hoodie. This vibrant blue hoodie is for adults, but comes in extra small, so it could work for older children and teens as well. I love a good Hanukkah Dad joke and this hoodie has them rolling in. On the back we see Mickey spinning a dreidel and wishing you a happy Hanukkah under the phrase “This is how we roll.” The same phrase is copied on the front of the shirt, but this time there is an ice blue Mickey Head in the center.
In addition to the hoodie, there is also a set of matching family pajamas! The collection includes different options for everyone in your family, from adult to baby. I am especially fond of the dress that is available for little girls and the lilac accents on it. The pattern shows Mickey and Minnie getting into the holiday spirit with gelt, Hanukkiahs, and some yummy holiday treats. They flutter around the PJs spinning dreidels, lighting Hanukkiahs, and spreading an extra bit of joy wherever they go.
Home Decor and Accessories
You and your family aren’t the only things that you can dress up for the holiday! These new Hanukkah home items will make you feel festive from the moment you add them to your house. First up is this Hanukkiah Wall Hanging. There is a sketch of Minnie and Mickey in front of the Hanukkiah. During Hanukkah, you can add one of the removable candles to the hanging. This is a fun activity to do with the littles in your life and it is sure to be a family tradition for years to come.
Get cozy by a fire with the next two items! The first is a lovely Happy Hanukkah Throw Blanket. This has all of the colors and traditions of the season in full display. Mickey looks like he might be trying to teach Minnie how to play dreidel. Little does he know that she will be beating him in no time! And while you are cuddling under the blanket, you can sip Hot Cocoa from this Hanukkah Mug. The mug has all of the colors and traditions seen on the blanket, but the only exception is that Minnie and Mickey are hugging instead of playing with a dreidel.
The final item in this collection is a “Happy Hanukkah” Pin. While the pin has the same image of Minnie and Mickey playing dreidel as the other items in the collection, I think that it looks like a piece of Jewish Art because of the pin’s nickel finish.
