Today is our lucky day because Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is heading our way! That’s right, an Oswald Dooney & Bourke Collection is coming. This collection is currently available for preview on shopDisney Japan, and we are really hoping that means it will make its way to the States very soon.
According to shopDisney Japan, this collection is officially part of the Disney100 celebration. I am so glad we are seeing Oswald represented in style. After all, he was Walt’s first star!

Oswald The Lucky Rabbit Two-Way Satchel
Oswald the Luckey Rabbit starred in series of 26 shorts before Walt lost the rights to him. Now, he is back and ready to join you on your Disney adventures! Artist Eric Tan has designed this collection to show off the many personalities and sides of Oswald. The comical illustrations drawn in monotone give a sense of history. This style is accented by a leather tag on the handle and a removable shoulder strap.
Oswald the Luckey Rabbit Backpack
I know that there are so many fashionistas out there that love the style of a Dooney & Bourke backpack. You can carry Oswald with you wherever you go when you store your essentials in this classic silhouette. Although it is a moderately compact size, this feature features a key hook and pockets, and is very practical and stylish!
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Crossbody
The Dooney & Bourke Crossbody Silhouette is my absolute favorite! It’s just so practical, functional, and perfectly sized for everyday use. This is definitely the silhouette from the collection that I would choose for myself. I think this style gives a good representation of the artwork as well.
Finally, I want to share a little closer look at the leather hang tag for this collection. One side of the black leather tag designates the artist as Eric Tan while the other side gives us another image of Oswald.
